Audio and video search

  • NewSearch inside audio and video already held in connected storage, indexed alongside documents. Results return the exact timestamp and click through to the source.
  • NewEntity extraction across the estate: people, organisations, locations and topics, with the relationships between them, permission-trimmed and linked back to the documents that assert them.
  • ImprovedDocument understanding on scanned PDFs and complex table layouts.

Upgrade note: audio and video indexing is opt-in per source. Existing sources are unchanged until you enable it. No re-index of documents is required.

Version history and document diffs

  • NewVersion history per source: each superseded version of a document's extracted text is archived automatically as the document changes, up to a retention limit you set.
  • NewLine-by-line diff between any two versions, including the live one, so you can answer what changed in a policy and when.
  • ImprovedRetrieval across time, so a question can be answered against a document as it stood on a given date, with citations to the exact versions used.

Upgrade note: original files are never modified. Version history stores extracted text only, inside your infrastructure, and is enabled per source.

Microsoft 365 sources and identity expansion

  • NewSharePoint and OneDrive connectors, so cloud and on-premises content sit in one index without migrating either.
  • NewIdentity provider support extended to Keycloak and generic OIDC alongside Entra ID, Google and Okta.
  • SecurityTenant isolation moved to enforcement at the data layer.

Air-gapped operation and offline licensing

  • NewOffline licensing with no phone-home and no usage telemetry, making fully disconnected deployment possible and verifiable at the network layer.
  • NewOffline update packages for sites with no outbound connectivity.
  • ImprovedHybrid retrieval tuning, measured at 62% more correct answers than keyword-only search in internal benchmarking.
